New content on Carbon Emissions

Tuesday 28th July, 2015

New content has just been added to the site for one of the 6 key questions, 'Which households emit the most carbon?' This section explores the implication of carbon reduction policies on people on low income and finds evidence of a 'triple injustice'. Low income households pay more for their energy in the first place, are responsible for fewer carbon emissions than other population groups and yet benefit the least from national policies designed to curb emissions. The section examines what can be done locally to make a difference, including providing support for community energy schemes.
